At the tender age of 14, I was approached by Adidas, who offered me a sum of $5000. It was a substantial amount, considering my monthly earnings were a mere $300 at the time. Yet, my brother had superior skills on the ball, and so I inquired, 'Would you be open to extending an offer to my brother as well?' Adidas responded without hesitation, 'Certainly, we would be delighted to sign him and offer him $5000 as well.'

Upon arriving at the corporate headquarters, the contract was presented to me—a moment that illuminated the stark reality of the commercial landscape. I inquired, “Where is my brother’s agreement?” They replied, “No, you must sign yours first, and then your brother will sign his.” Ultimately, I declined, and the matter was put on hold.
